Jane "Betty" Obraske, 84, of Moose Lake, died Friday, March 9, 2012 in Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. She was born March 9, 1928 in Duluth to Al and Fannie (Bakerie) Obraske. Betty loved gardening, music, reading and talking politics. She was very talented singer and musician and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Gerald.

Betty is survived by 1 sister, BeBe "Alberta" (Rick) Svenddal; nieces and nephews, Mike (LuAnn) Obraske, Jim (Robin) Obraske, Joanne (Dave) Minks, Cindy (Kevin) Harjes, Patty (Steve) Narveson, Mary Cameron, Terry (LaVella) Schillinger, Tom Svenddal, Gerald Svenddal and Albert Svenddal; several great nieces and nephews.


A gathering of family and friends was on Wednesday, March 14, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
