Jeanette M. (Dupre) Koeck

Jeanette M. (Dupre) Koeck, 84, Moose Lake, formerly of St. Paul, died peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2017 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake following complications with Alzheimer's.

She was born on May 23, 1932 in Hugo, MN to Medore and Olive Dupre.  Jeanette grew up and lived in St. Paul.  On July 12, 1961, Jeanette married Arnold E. Koeck in Ames, Iowa.  She loved puzzles, playing cribbage and bowling.  In 2008, Jeanette moved to Moose Lake.  She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold in 1985.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Marilyn (John, Sr.) Bluel of St. Paul; Sherry Doocy of St. Paul; Jean (Dave) Schneider of Holton, WI; Richard (Kathy) Koeck of Moose Lake; and Kathy Eckwright of Gibbon, MN; 9 grandchildren: John, Jr. (Tammy) Bluel, Daniel Doocy, Zachary (Jenny) Wilson, Desiree Wilson, Samantha (Andrew) Leintz, Nathanial Koeck, Alex Eckwright, Kristen Eckwright, and Mykala Eckwright; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:30 PM until the 4 PM Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake.  Father Kris McKusky will be the celebrant.  Casket Bearers will be Jack Bluel, Jr., John Bluel III, Nathanial Koeck, and Andrew Leintz.  Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Memorials are preferred in Jeanette's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 525 S. Lake Ave. #214, Duluth, MN 55802.
