Jerome "Jerry" Henley
Jerome "Jerry" Henley, 68, Blackhoof Township, died on Friday, December 17, 2010 at his home.
Jerry was born on April 21, 1942 in Hardin, Montana to Estol and Martha Henley. He grew up in Montana and in 1960 joined the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for 19 years retiring from the Navy in 1979. After his retirement, Jerry moved to Blackhoof Twp. Jerry considered himself a blacksmith and also loved to play on his computer. He worked through the years as a bartender and chef at Carlton VFW, Barnum Muni, Hanging Horn Village, and the Happy Chef. Jerry was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Rifle Association, and the Carlton VFW. Jerry also was retired from the Carlton VFW Honor Guard. He also had served as a Blackhoof Twp. Fireman and First Responder.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two sons: Kenneth and John Henley; a brother: Robert Henley; a sister: Sherry Abrahams; and his special friends: Mike & Glenda Svacina.
At Jerry's request, there will be services.
