John Allen Buck, 59, of Moose Lake (formerly Champlin MN) passed away on Sunday, November 12th in Essentia Duluth after a long battle with heart and lung disease. John was born November 30th, 1963 to Jack and Margaret (Porteous) Buck in Moose Lake. John graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1982 and then completed a 2-year course in maintenance mechanics at Eveleth Vocational School. John married Tammy Stein on September 11th, 1993. They lived in Champlin, Minnesota where they raised their son Brandon. John was a truck driver and worked for North Country Trailer for 20+ years before retiring in 2017. They moved to Moose Lake in 2018. John loved his dog, Sasha, he also enjoyed deer hunting, classic cars, and "the shack".

John will be greatly missed by his wife Tammy and his son Brandon, his mother Margaret, his sister Diana (Jeff) Laine, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, and many friends especially his best friend Doug Stein and a lifelong friend Harley Pionk. John was preceded in death by his father Jack Buck and his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

There will be 2 celebrations of life for John.

Celebration of Life: Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at Docs Sturgeon Lake from 5-8 pm

2nd Celebration of Life: Friday, December 1st at Bunker Hills Event Center  12800 Bunker Prairie Road, Coon Rapids  from 5-8 pm.

Private Inurnment will be at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Lake.
