John Thaddeus Kolosky , 59, of Moose Lake, died Friday, May 8, 2020 in his home. He was born in Duluth on July 29, 1960 to Carol and Robert (Meyers) Kolosky. John grew up in Moose Lake township and graduated from Moose Lake High School.

Over the years John held many positions in various fields, including his time as a laborer, butcher,  and tree nursery technician.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends which included is four-legged companion, Phyllis.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Carol Kolosky; sister, Cara Kolosky; brother, Joeffre Kolsoky; and a nephew, Joshua Kolosky.

Survived by six siblings, Kevin (Linda), Kerry, Nathan, Mary Ann, Robert, and Tamy; niece, Erin Kolosky along with her children, Elynn and Landyn; and nephews; Jeremy and Travess Kolosky.

A private family graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake. Inurnment will follow in the cemetery.
