John Floyd Ledin

John Floyd Ledin, 76, Sturgeon Lake, died suddenly on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Moose Lake. He was born on December 17, 1934 in Isanti to Theodore and Mildred Ledin. Floyd grew up in the Oak Lake area and attended Moose Lake High School graduating in 1952. He later attended Dunwoody and learned the trade of plumbing and worked through the years under Minneapolis Local 15. On July 25, 1959, John married Shirley Anderson in Willow River. They lived Brooklyn Center and also had a home on Sturgeon Lake where Floyd retired to in 1994. He loved hunting and fishing.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore and Mildred Ledin.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years: Shirley; two sons: John (Brenda) of Harris and Thomas (Colleen) of Cross Lake; 6 Grandchildren: Corey, Joshua, Jamie, Jeremy, Aron, and Kalli; and a sister: Barbara Larson of Moose Lake.

Visitation was from 5-7 PM Sunday, Sept 18, 2011 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and continue from 10 am until the 11 AM service on Monday, Sept 19, 2011 in Oak Lake Lutheran Church, Kerrick. Burial was at 2:00 PM on Monday, Sept 19 in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Willow River.
