John William Zanol, 60, Sturgeon Lake, died on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home.  He was born on April 7, 1963 to Eleanor and Charles Zanol, Sr in Denver, CO.  He worked for many years as an OTR truck driver and later started driving a log truck.  John was currently working at the Korner Store in Sturgeon Lake where he formed many friendships with his customers.  John loved fishing, riding his Harley, working on vehicles, and spending time with family and friends.

John is preceded in death by parents: Eleanor and Charles Zanol, Sr.; sister-in-law: Linda Zanol; nephew: Raymond Zanol; niece: Eleanor Frey; brother-in-law: Leroy Marsh; and mother-in-law: Karen Gusa.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife whom he married on August 12, 2023: Andrea; three children: Victoria (Chad) Dirks; Tabitha (Jake) Allen; and Giovanni (Rachel) Zanol; four grandchildren: Henry, Abigail, Dahlia, and Damian; siblings: Frank (Linda) Zanol, Charles (Judy) Zanol, Illa Marsh, and Thomas Zanol; father-in-law: Scott Gusa; his beloved cats: Missy & Maddie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
