Joyce Olson, 80, Moose Lake, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born on August 12, 1930 in Duluth, MN. On April 17, 1952, Joyce married Thomas Olson in Duluth.
Joyce was preceded in death by her Grandson: Russ; Brother: Jack; and Parents: Pete and Goodway Peterson.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years: Thomas; 2 sons: Gregory (Cindy) of Inver Grove Heights and Douglas (Gail) of Grand Junction, CO; 2 Grandsons: Danial (Charmae) and Michael of Grand Junction, CO; 2 Great Granddaughters: Arianna and Lilee Ann; 2 Sisters: Iris Larson of Cambridge and Mary (Jerry) Weld of Minnetonka; along with many loving family and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 11:30 until the 1:00 PM Memorial Service on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. Wendy Hjelmberg – AIM will officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff at Inver Grove Senior Living whom made Joyce comfortable during her stay.
