Judith Ann Kasper, Mora, died peacefully in Lakeside Nursing Home of Pine City on Thursday, June 10 ^th , 2021. She was born in Duluth, MN on March 30 ^th , 1941 to Gordon and Eileen (Bala) Sundstrom.

Judy was raised in and attended school in Duluth. She was unable to attend public school after 9 ^th grade due to a tough battle she fought with an uncertain diagnosis of polio. She spent a lot of her childhood doctoring in Gilette's Children's Hospital and pushed through her adult years despite her disabilities. Judy was set up on a blind date with a fellow Grand Casino go-er by her grandchildren. After finding out how much they had in common, she married Leon Kasper on May 17 ^th , 2013 in Pine City. Together they went fishing, rode bikes, and spent a lot of time exploring Canal Park. Judy loved to visit with family, gardening, doing arts and crafts, caring for animals, and hobby farming. She was a practical jokester with a wonderful sense of humor and had a very loving, sweet, and kind nature about her even though she was known to be stubborn. She will be missed by her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Gordy and Eileen and a brother, Jerry.

She is survived by her best friend and husband, Leon; children, David (Sherri) Puckett, Brian Puckett, Steven Puckett, and Shelly (Jim) Netzel; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; step-children, Tim (Shellie) Kasper and Jeff (Erin) Kasper; siblings, Jim (Gail) Sundstrom and Jill Opack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22 ^nd , 2021 from 10am until the 11am memorial service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
