Judith Anne Langhorst, 87, Barnum, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at New Perspective Senior Living in Cloquet. She was born on July 29, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to Ray and Helen Iverson. Judith grew up in Rhinelander, WI where she attended school. She later attended Northland College in Ashland and attained her BA Degree in Psychology and Sociology. Judith worked as a social worker in St. Louis County. On June 15, 1963, Judith married Henry Langhorst in Duluth. She was a homemaker, sold Avon, a Watkins Dealer, and also sold honey and produce from the garden. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Barnum where she was a member of the Faith Circle and taught Sunday School. Judith also belonged to the Carlton County Farmers Market.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry; son: Craig Langhorst; daughter: Anne Langhorst; sister: Barbara Berryhill; and her parents: Ray and Helen Iverson.
Judith will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11 am until the 12:00 Noon Memorial Service on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Barnum. Inurnment will follow the service with lunch immediately following.
