Kaylee Marie Steeg

Kaylee Marie Steeg, 17, Moose Lake and Kerrick, died Monday, March 22, 2010.

She was born on September 11, 1992 in Moose Lake. Kaylee attended Moose Lake High School and was a member of the Honor Society and in her younger years played volleyball. She was enrolled in Lake Superior College and also attended the CNA Nursing Program at Mercy Hospital. Kaylee also had enlisted in the National Guard. She was currently employed at the Duquette General Store. Kaylee was a very hard working person. She loved to ride dirt bike, deer hunt, jet ski, and loved being around little kids.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Lynn (Bob) Ketchum of Kerrick and Tim (Betty Jo) Steeg of Moose Lake; twin sister: Brittany Steeg; Half Brothers: Jake Kachinske and Leon Kachinske; Step-Brothers and Sisters: Thomas Hansen, Keely Hansen, Stacy Ketchum, and Justin Ketchum; Maternal Grandparents: Jeff & Deanna Vichorek of Moose Lake; Paternal Grandparents: Cary & Elaine Steeg of Finlayson; Great Grandmother: Minnie Steeg of Grantsburg; and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

A Memorial Visitation was held from 2 until the 4 PM Memorial Service on Friday, March 26, 2010 in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. Wendy Hjelmberg, AIM was the officiate.
