Keith A. Staberg, 71, Duquette, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Essentia Moose Lake.  He was born on October 17, 1952 in Stillwater to Don and Verlie Staberg.  Keith grew up in Stillwater and then moved with his family for a short time to California.  They later returned to Stillwater where Keith graduated from High School in Stillwater and was on the high school diving team.  Keith worked for GTC Auto Parts and later went to trade school to become a lumber grader and began working in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  On September 20, 1997, Keith married Evy Monette in Barnum.  Keith worked as a janitor at Mercy Hospital from 1997 until 2017 when he retired.  He loved hunting, fishing, camping, painting, and drawing.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents: Don and Verlie Staberg and a sister-in-law: Mary Anne Staberg.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Evy; three step-children: Jason (Lena) Koecher; Nikki (Jeremy) Jensen; and Derrick (Amber) Koecher; six grandchildren: Caitlin, Hannah, Austin, Paige, Randi, and Paitynn; four siblings: Barry Staberg; Carey (Lucy) Staberg; Linda (Phil) Mitchell; Dan (Jane) Staberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the 11 am service on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake.  Cremation will follow the service with private family inurnment in Bruno Cemetery.
