Kenneth Fred Duesler, 80, of Barnum, died on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton. Kenneth was born March 17, 1940 in Blackhoof Township, the son of Fred and Irma (Wik) Duesler.

Kenneth grew up in Blackhoof Township, attending Central School and later, graduating from Barnum High School in 1958. On January 20, 1962, Kenneth married Lynda VanDerWerff in Barnum, MN. Kenneth worked at Diamond Match in Cloquet, MN for over 44 years. He also farmed and cleaned the Barnum Community Methodist Church for many years.

Kenny enjoyed attending local high school sporting events, horse racing, time at the Carlton Co. Fair, tractors, hobby farming, hunting, and especially time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Barnum Community Club and the Barnum Community Methodist Church.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda in 2008; as well as his parents.

He is survived by his four children, Lauri (Ricky) Joseph of Bulverde, TX, Caren (Ryan) Warner of Prescott, WI, Cheryl (Bob) Kangas of Aitkin, MN and David (Julie) Duesler of Barnum, MN; siblings, Stanley Duesler, Shirley Senarighi, Glenn Duesler, Sharon Pylvanen, his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and special friend, Barb Davis.

Visitation: 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Barnum Community Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Barnum in the spring.
