On September 15th, 2023, family and friends lost a piece of their heart. Kenneth (Kenny) Michael Pountain, 32, Barnum, tragically and unexpectedly died working a job that he loved and enjoyed doing every day.

Born January 13th, 1991, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kenneth was your prime definition of a family man. He loved his fiancé, Breann Fahlsing, with all he had and wanted nothing more than to provide a remarkable life for his daughter Iris and son Aaden.

If you knew Kenny, you were blessed. His heart was bigger than his entire body. His memory will live on in the stories we tell, and they will continue to honor the life Kenny had lived. This is not good-bye, this is 'I'll see you later'.

Kenny is survived by his fiance: Breann; his two children: Aaden (10 years old) and Iris (2 years old); Biological parents Steve Pountain and Margaret Cotrell. Kenny was lucky enough to have additional parental figures growing up and into his adulthood of Kurt & Robin Peterson and his in-laws, Terry & Faith Youngberg. His siblings include: Holly, Jacque, Shane, Mali, Jeremy, and Justin and a very good friend, Grey Lockheart; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, and nephews.

Special considerations to his boss, Sean Hansen, and co-workers Eli Dallum and Austin Cabrera. Your continued support is deeply appreciated.

Kenny is preceded in death by Grandparents: Kenneth & Gloria Pountain; his best friend: Dylan Sayler; and his pup best friend: Dinker.

Blood was never a factor with Kenny. He loved so much and is loved by so many.

Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 pm Memorial Service on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Cremation will follow the services.
