Lance Michael Walczak, age 48, resident of Sturgeon Lake, MN died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home on Thursday, June 20 ^th , 2019. He was born in Edina, MN to Leonard Walczak and Susan (Nyrud) Kingren on February 14 ^th , 1971.

Lance graduated from Wayzata High School and worked as a printing press operator for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, and snow ski. Although his health hasn't been good lately, Lance enjoyed kayaking and riding his mountain bike.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard; and grandparents, Phylis and Bill Nyrud, and Lottie and Bernard Walczak. Lance is survived by his mother, Susan (Jerry) Kingren; brothers, Kent and Chad Walczak; and step-brother, Jerry (Julie) Kingren. He will be sadly missed by his family, aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, June 28 ^th , 2019 at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home in Moose Lake, MN.
