Lawrence "Lorry" Erickson, 92, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2010. He was born in Minneapolis on Feb. 16, 1918 and was a long time resident of Blaine and Scandia. Lorry was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and retired U of M employee.

Lorry is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine; brothers, Rodney, Alton "Swede" and Carl; sister, Ann.

He will be deeply missed by his sons, Gary (Deb) and Larry (Kara); daughter, Janice (Robert) Nelson, step-daughter Sue Ann (Jim) Sloper; 4 grandchildren, Michelle (Adam) Parsons , Adam (Kim), Samantha and Jenna; first wife, Betty and other family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends was on Saturday, November 20, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service was in Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail N., Scandia, MN.
