Lewis W. Green

Lewis W. Green, 69, Sturgeon Lake, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Sturgeon Lake with his family by his side.  He was born on April 3, 1948 in Stillwater, MN to Carson and Viola Green.  Lewis grew up in Stillwater and in 1969 moved north and lived in the Cromwell and Kettle River areas.  In 2015, he moved to Sturgeon Lake.  He loved building model airplanes, playing guitar and singing, listening to 50's and 60's music, riding his motorcycle especially on long trips, and telling stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Henry Kuehndorf.

Lewis will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Tammy Lowell of Sturgeon Lake; Tina Green of Sturgeon Lake; Christy Brokerthayer of Sturgeon Lake; and Sheri Sourthen of Virginia; 15 grandkids; 6 great grandkids; brother: William Kuehndorf of Turtle Lake, WI; and two sisters: Mable Nase of St. Paul and Vivian Knops of New Richmond, WI.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2 PM at his daughter, Tammy's house at 94219 Hwy 61, Sturgeon Lake, MN 55783.
