Lillian A. Ament

Lillian A. Ament, 91, Moose Lake, died Friday, September 3, 2010 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born on September 18, 1918 in Fargo, ND to Ole and Ida Olson. Lillian grew up and attended school in Red Wing. She worked for 7 years at Red Wing Advertising Company. In 1943, Lillian moved to St. Paul. She worked for Montgomery Wards for 33 years. On June 17, 1961, Lillian married Daniel Ament in Northwood, Iowa. Lillian retired to Kettle River in 1979 and later moved to Island Lake in 1985 and Moose Lake in 1996. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel in 1986; her parents; son: John; and a step son.

She is survived by 2 step-daughters: Darlene (Stan) Ament Beaudry of Willamina, Oregon and Diann (John) DeBenedetto of Shelly, Idaho; her adopted children and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10 AM in Riverside Cemetery, Barnum. Father Eamonn Boland was the officiate.
