Lillian Marie Spetz, 91, of Moose Lake, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born May 20, 1921 in Cambridge to Carl and Anna (Hohle) Geving. Lillian attended school in both Isanti and later in Cambridge. Lillian was united in marriage to Edwin Spetz on January 7, 1939 in Isanti. Lillian worked for a catering company as a manager in Minneapolis. 1n 1979, Lillian and Edwin moved to Moose Lake. Lillian was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. She was a wonderful seamstress and an excellent cook.

Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; her parents; 1 grandson, Jeffrey; 3 brothers.

Lillian is survived by 4 children, Helen (Paul) Jacobson of Moose Lake, Bruce (Susan) Spetz of Cloquet, Mary (Dale) Koehnen of West Chapel, FL and Louise (Allan) Hamula of Strongsville, OH; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Margaret Oettcher, Annabelle Couillard, Marlys (Jerry) Naumann and Joyce (Kenny) Cleland; several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 20, from 2 PM until the 3 PM Memorial Service in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake.
