Lillie B.A. Schoenrock, 91, of Finlayson, died April 10, 2010 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.
She was born October 2, 1918 in Pine Lake Township to Paul and Serafia "Sarah" (Mack) Korpi. Lillie attended Elbow Lake School and later Finlayson High School, graduating in 1937. Lillie lived and worked in Duluth and the Twin Cities for a short time before returning to Finlayson and working at the Co-op Store. Lillie was united in marriage to Ralph Schoenrock on November 29, 1947 in Finlayson. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Giese and was Ladies Aid Officer as well as Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, baking, cooking, sewing and especially entertaining family and friends. Lillie was always helping others.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Ralph; her parents; 3 sisters, Senia Laska, Celia Hildebrant and Alma Wichner; 4 brothers, Edward, Niilo, Marlyn and Alvin.

Lillie is survived by 3 children, Reverend Harlan (Diane) Schoenrock of Melbourne, FL, Reverend Roger (Juene) Schoenrock of Sandstone and Bonnie (Richard) Carlson of Rush City; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Julia McKay and Ruth Brabec; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on Wednesday, April 14, from 6-8 PM in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Giese and continued Thursday, April 15, from Noon until the 1 PM service at the church.
