Obituary

Linda M. Zuk, 53, of Kettle River, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 in Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester. She was born February 22, 1956 in Princeton to George and Virginia (Molloy) Nikko, Sr. Linda attended Big Lake Elementary School and graduated from Willow River High School in 1974. She went on to Area Vocational Tech of St. Cloud to become a Dental Assistant graduating in May of 1976. Linda was united in marriage to Thomas Zuk on May 7, 1977 in Moose Lake. She enjoyed her flower gardens, animals, fishing, cooking spaghetti dinners, attending Rebels Track & Field Meets, Volleyball Matches and Football games (she was everyone's biggest fan). Linda's special joy was time with her family. She was a spiritual leader and prayer warrior for many.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her husband Tom Zuk of Kettle River; 1 daughter, Lindsey (fiancé, Jonathan Spitzer) Zuk; 5 sons, Zebulon, Zachary (fiancé, Tracy Kneisel), Stuart, Aaron and Tyler; 3 brothers, George (Cindy) Nikko, Bill (Cheryl) Nikko and Walter "David" (Bonnie) Nikko; 5 sisters, Ann Berglund, Helen (Jim) Farrington, Sandi (Greg) Nouis, Marian (Art) Essery and Kathryn Nikko; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Monday, March 2, from 6-8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and continued Tuesday, March 3, from 10 until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake with Father Eamonn Boland as the celebrant.
