Obituary

Loren Harold Armstrong, 79, of Moose Lake, died September 22, 2010 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born April 2, 1931 in Missoula, MT to Harold and Hazel (West) Armstrong. Loren was united in marriage to his first wife, Beatrice Hotchkiss and his second wife, Grace Nuesse. Loren was always willing to give friends a ride. Loren loved fishing and enjoyed talking with friends at the Manor East during cook for a day. Loren especially enjoyed time with his family.

Loren is preceded in death by his wife, Grace; parents, Harold and Hazel; step mother, Florence Armstrong; son, Jack Armstrong; brother, Donald Armstrong.

Loren is survived by his former wife, Beatrice; daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Sathre of Moose Lake and Jill (Andy) Williams of Portland, OR; sons, Paul (Allicia) Armstrong of Calliao, VA; Stan (Marie) Armstrong of Martinez, CA, Dennis (Jenny) Armstrong of Lisbon, WI, Robert (Sandy) Saby of Zimmerman and Darrell (Connie) Saby of Andover; grandchildren, James (Bri), Johann, Kenneth, Julia, Sandy, Diana, Patrick, Faith, Brandon, Leann, Andrea, Danelle, Monica, David, Brian and Kayla; several great grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine (Don) Everson of Stanwood WA, Marvin (Clara) Armstrong of Grangeville, ID, Melvin (Darlene) Armstrong of Surprise, AZ, Dick (Dena) Armstrong of Spokane, WA, Jerry (Glenda) Armstrong of Spokane, WA, Philip (Ruth) Armstrong of Bean Station, TN, Phyllis (Kermit) Johnson of Spokane, WA, Marilyn (Alan) Wagner of Lewiston, ID, Virginia (Leonard) Hritsco of Spokane, WA and Paul (Chris) Armstrong of Greenacres, WA.

A gathering of family and friends was held on Saturday, October 2, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service was in West Side Church, Hwy 27, Kettle River.
