Lorraine "Tootsie" Virnig

Lorraine "Tootsie" Virnig, 78, Hinckley, formerly of Moose Lake, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.  She was born on April 13, 1938 in Moose Lake to William and Irene Worum.  Lorraine attended Moose Lake High School graduating in 1956.  On September 16, 1972, Lorraine married Kenneth Virnig in Moose Lake.  Lorraine worked at the Red Owl Store in Moose Lake.  She enjoyed going to the cabin, four-wheeling, bass fishing, going to coffee and playing cards with friends.  She volunteered at the Senior Center in Hinckley and loved going to Senior Bowling at Gamper's on Tuesdays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Worum; and a sister: Jeanette Jusczak.

Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth; son: Brian of Hinckley; sister: Lois (Wes) Rowe of Duluth; and several nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 10 am until the 11 am Memorial Service in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake.
