Louise E. McKee, 83, Kerrick, died peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Heritage Haven Assisted Living, Duluth.  She was born on June 1, 1935 in Duluth to Edwin and Edith Mattson.  Louise grew up in the French River area north of Duluth and later lived in Duluth where she worked at the Edgewater Motel for many years.  She married Billy McKee on October 15, 1984 and they made their home in Kerrick.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Brenda Lathrop; brother: Lawrence Mattson; and her parents: Edwin and Edith Mattson.

Louise will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Billy; two sons: Richard Lathrop of Grand Marais and Ronald Lathrop and wife Debbie of Duluth; two daughters: Sherry Somrock and husband Greg of Duluth and Sharon Hoff and husband Steve of Burkesville, KY; five grandchildren: Wayne, Ray and wife Suzanna, Mike and wife Tessa, Ronelle, and Nick and wife Jessica; and six great grandchildren: Dean, Aurora, Aaron, Caleb, Clara, and Sophie.

A Gathering of Family and Friends with luncheon and fellowship will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm in Evangelical Covenant Church Social Hall, Moose Lake.  Private inurnment will be in Oak Lake Church Cemetery, Kerrick Twp.
