Lucinda "Cindy" Kay Schleret, 72, resident of Barnum, died on Monday, June 6 ^th , 2022 in Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. She was born in Primghar, IA on October 1 ^st , 1949 to Oren and LaVonne (Peters) Johnson.

Cindy worked at Stearns Manufacturing in Carlton and K-One in Cloquet: she was a talented seamstress. Cindy enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband and family throughout the years. She loved to watch old western movies and spent countless hours watching the hummingbirds in the summer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Oren and LaVonne Johnson; her aunt and uncles, Carrie & Verness Tanner and Marian & Leo Klinkenborg; her husband, Kenny; In-Laws; Felix and Bertha Schleret; Brothers, Larry Johnson and Jerry Johnson; brothers-in-law, John Schleret, Stanley Olsen, Wendall Schleret, Harold Schwartzbauer, and Johnny Booker; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Schwartzbaur and Judy Wolf; and nephews, Brian Schleret, Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Schwartzbaur and Garry Johnson, Jr.

Cindy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tammy (Chad) Clementson; son, Wayne (Teri) Schleret; grandchildren, Daniel Schleret (YoY Sellon), and Heaven (Chris) Thomsen; and great-grandchildren, Akkadian "Kadi", Nicholas, Dalton, and Hadley. Brothers, Lee (Lyne) Johnson, Dana (Kathy) Johnson and Gary (Ginny) Johnson;. Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Keith (Gretchen) Levings of Duluth, Robert (Bonnie) Schleret of Cloquet, Shirley Schleret of Cloquet, Larry (Linda) Schleret of Barnum, Gary Schleret of Rush City and Jerry (Melissa) Schleret of Burnsville; Roger Wolf of Arizona, Sandra Booker of Rutledge, Dale Olsen of Carlton, Cheryl (Jeff) Jahr of Ely and Brenda (Roy) Beck of Wright; many nieces and nephews.

Per Cindy's request, no funeral services will be held. There will be a private family graveside service in her honor.
