Marcella "Marcy" Jaros, age 87, of Moose Lake passed away peacefully Friday, April 24, 2020 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake. Marcy was born in Split Rock Township on March 22, 1933 the daughter of Stanley and Celia (Pasek) Dobosenski.

She attended country school in Split Rock Township before moving to Moose Lake where Marcy graduated from Moose Lake High School. Marcy married Jack Jaros on October 31, 1953 and soon after moved to Washington State while Jack served his country in the United States Army. Marcy and Jack moved to Rutledge where Marcy became a homemaker, caring for her home and family. Marcy held many positions throughout her life including her time at Northwest Paper in Cloquet, her position as a nursing assistant, and even served as the supervisor of foster grandparents for the Moose Lake State Hospital. In 1974 they relocated to Willow River where she worked as a dental assistant. Marcy and Jack were devoted members of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was an organist and belonged to the CCW. After Jack's retirement in 1982, Marcy and Jack wintered in Texas.

Marcy loved and cared about everyone deeply. Her passion for music was evident as was her pride in her children and grandchildren.

Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; daughter, Mary; brother, Bob Dobosenski; and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Jaros of Willow River and Don Jaros of Waseca; son-in-law, Pat Conner of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Jeremy, Rachel, John, Cheyenne, Tony and Bobbie Jo; great grandchildren, Payton, Sydney, Noah, Jackson, Trick, Zoey, Madison, Dalton, Liam, and Madelyn; siblings, Clem Mielke, David Dobosenski, Stanley Dobosenski, Kathy Novak; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to COVID-19, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Willow River. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Willow River.
