Margaret M. Jurek, 87, died peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025.  She was born on August 3, 1938 in St. Paul to Carl and Katherine Zieman.  Margaret grew up in "the flats" of St. Paul.  She was very proud that she drove school bus in the Stillwater and Afton areas.  In 1971, Margaret moved to Sturgeon Lake with her three children.  On April 26, 1975, Margaret married William "Bill" Jurek in Sturgeon Lake.  They were dedicated members to West Side Church in Kettle River.  Margaret loved family gatherings, gardening, crocheting, knitting, and her Sunday Drives with her husband, Bill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Jurek in 2022; her parents: Carl and Katherine Zieman; four sisters: Luvern, Renee, Patricia, and Janice; and three brothers: Donald, Al, and Sonny.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her three children: DelRose Lake; Douglas (Jackie) Knutson; and Darnell Mosbek; five grandchildren: Lucas Lake; Theresa (Josh) Kost; Nicole (Marcus) Shannon; Joshua (Whitney) Knutson; and Sara Olson; eight great grandchildren: Makayla, Kendra, Chase, Emily, Daniel, Athena, Kalista, and Bennett; two sisters: Joanne Kratzke and Virginia LeVasseur; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 am until the 12 Noon funeral service on Friday, December 19, 2025 in West Side Church, Kettle River.  Burial will be in West Side Cemetery, Kettle River.
