Margaret J. Maggi, 84, of Brook Park, formerly of East St. Paul, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at her home. She was born February 12, 1925 in Glen Flora, WI to Konrad and Annabelle (Ersland) Helland. Margaret was united in marriage to Angelo Maggi. Margaret was a custodian at Mora Elementary School for many years. She had a love for animals, especially her dog, Tiny. Margaret enjoyed visiting her relatives in WI. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo; 1 grandson, Barry Maloney; 1 sister, Irene Olson; 3 brothers, Cliff Johnson, Wilbur Johnson and Norman Helland.

Margaret is survived by her son, Gary Maloney of Sturgeon Lake; 2 grandchildren, Tina (Dave) Dower of Richfield and Shane Maloney of Sturgeon Lake; 1 sister, Beatrice Pilgrim of Hawkins, WI; several nieces and nephews; her dog, Tiny.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 19, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake with Pastor Jan Mehlhoff officiating.
