Marianne Meyer, 71, of Kerrick, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.  She had struggled with Alzheimer's for the past several years.Marianne was born December 12, 1936, in Keewatin to Mary and John (Minerich) Rebrovich.  She was united in marriage to Wayne Meyer on April 23, 1955 in Keewatin.  The Meyers' family established a home business early on repairing T.V. and radios.  In 1984, with their son John, they opened Meyer T.V. and Appliance in Moose Lake.  Marianne could be found behind the customer service desk greeting the customers and knitting beautifully designed sweaters and afghans for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In times of good health, she was at the heart and center of many community activities.  Her family will hold in their memories many cherished family times with her.Marianne is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Ray Stevens; father-in-law, Lyman Meyer.Marianne will be dearly missed by her husband, Wayne Meyer of Kerrick; children and grandchildren, Catherine Lattu of St. Paul and her children, David (Tammi), Nathan, Tamara, Nicholas (Jessica) and Bethany, Alane (Dale) Staberg of Moose Lake and their children, Heather, Megan, Brenna and Jordan, John (Karin) Meyer of Duquette and their children, William, Olivia and Kirsten, Christine (Thomas Sr.) Maguire of Remsenburg, NY and their children, Thomas Jr. and Michael; Marianne will also be missed by several great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ella Meyer; 1 brother, James Rebrovich; 2 sisters, Joanne (Jim) Comparoni and Madeline (Don) Hulte.Our special thanks go out to the wonderful and caring staff at Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.
