Marilyn Arvidson

Marilyn Arvidson, 72, Moose Lake, formerly of Coon Rapids, died suddenly on Feb 23, 2013 at her home. She was born on April 1, 1940 in Amery, WI to Edward and June Lark. Marilyn grew up in Princeton and later Minneapolis where she graduated from Roosevelt Senior High. On May 21, 1960, Marilyn married Terry Arvidson in Minneapolis. They lived in Minneapolis and later moved to Coon Rapids. Marilyn worked at K-Mart for 13 years. In 2000, Marilyn and Terry moved to Silver Twp. in Carlton County. Marilyn loved NASCAR Racing, attending the State Fair, traveling, and appreciated the scenery of Duluth. Most of all, Marilyn loved being a Wife, Mother, and Grandma. Family was extremely important to Marilyn and she loved and anxiously anticipated when her family would get together.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her Father: Edward Lark; Brother: Timothy Lark; and Son-In-Law: Daniel Johnson.

She will be lovingly remembered by her Husband of 52 years: Terry; her 6 Children: Sonna Johnson of Blaine; Rojeanna (JJ) Bohl of Hailey, ID; Tammy (John) Peterson of Monticello; Lori Dvorak of Hinckley; Nathan Arvidson of Breezy Point; and Tony (Mandy) Arvidson of Isanti; 13 Grandchildren: Sean, Joseph, Patrick, John, Tara, Rachal, Kyla, Jhenna, Abbey, Ana, Dustin, Chase, and Nolan; 1 Great Grandson: Hunter; her Mother: June Lark; Brother: Paul (Donna) Lark of Menomonie, WI; Sister: Becky (Wayne) Smuck of York, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Gathering of family & friends will be from Noon until the 1 PM Memorial Service on Sat. March 2, 2013 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Pastor Todd Van Zee will officiate.
