Marjorie Lee Cain

Marjorie Lee Cain, 82, Lakeview Twp., Carlton County, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.  She was born on February 13, 1936 to Frank and Mary Yuskie in Chicago where she grew up and attended school.  On August 28, 1954, Marjorie married Frank Everette Cain.  They moved to Lakeview Twp. in Carlton County where they purchased a farm and dairy farmed through the years.  Marjorie loved to pick on her grandchildren, crochet, watch TV, play Yahtzee, and hunt deer.  She was a true country girl whom loved life on the farm.  Marjorie was a huge animal lover, especially her dog, Levi whom she was inseparable with.  She also loved spending time with her family and truly liked to go visit family in Rolla, ND.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter: Cathleen Waldemarsen; granddaughter: Stacey Cain; and her parents: Frank and Mary Yuskie.

She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Clifford Cain of Wright; Marilyn Pieri of Aitkin; and Laura (Greg) Smith of Palisade; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a sister: Marion Simon of Brea, CA.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 6 pm until the 7 pm Remembrance Service on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Spring inurnment will be in Wright Catholic Cemetery, Wright, MN.
