Mary Rose Mikrot, 56, of Willow River, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 23, 1957 in Moose Lake to Lawrence and Mary Ann (Anderson) DeRungs. Mary Rose was formerly a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church of Sturgeon Lake and was currently a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Willow River. Mary Rose loved sewing, drawing, cooking, gardening, horseback riding and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary Rose is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amie Rose Mikrot; 3 brothers, Larry, Danny and Chuckie DeRungs.

Mary Rose is survived by 2 daughters, Mindy (Lance) Gockowski of Willow River and Teresa (Jeremy Eaton) Mikrot of Willow River; 5 grandchildren, Logan,, Colton, Colby and Carter Gockowski and Sydney Eaton; 2 sisters, Sharon (Rich Good) Mikrot Willow River and Sandy (Kevin) Mikrot Sturgeon Lake; 4 brothers, Tim DeRungs of Willow River, Terry (Chris) DeRungs of Blaine, Nick DeRungs of Willow River and Bill DeRungs of Willow River; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, from 4-6 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:30 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and will continue Wednesday, December 4 from
10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Sturgeon Lake with Father Stephen Solors as the celebrant.
