Mary E. Pasek, 86, of Moose Lake, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake. She was born July 18, 1928 in Duluth to Frank and Eva (Tribatowski) Karasiewicz. Mary farmed for 45 years as well as being a homemaker.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Julie Spradlin and Joyce Tenold; 1 sister; 1 brother.

Mary is survived by her children, Janice Koening of Brooklyn Park, Jim (Mary) Pasek of Kettle River, Jeff (Sandy) Pasek of Kettle River and John Pasek of Hinckley; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Joann Zimmerman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Split Rock Township with Father Kris McKusky as the celebrant. Casket Bearers will be Chris Koening, Jon Koening, Nathan Koening, Jeffrey Pasek, Jr., Dominic Pasek and Joey Stepan. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Star Club.
