Merlin Thomas Fadness, 95, of Moose Lake, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born July 1, 1920 in Winter Wisconsin to Martin and Theoline (Roppy) Fadness. Merlin was Veteran of The United States Army/Air Force who served during WWII. He loved woodworking, music and watching baseball. Merlin thrived on helping others and spending time with his grandkids and family. Merlin visited his son in Russia twice while he was in his 80's.

Merlin is preceded in death by 2 sons, Larry and Richard Fadness; 2 brothers, Telfred and Roy Fadness; 1 sister, Ruth Williamson.

Merlin is survived by his children, Brad (Mona) Fadness of Elk River, Jeff (Christina) Fadness of Pocatello, ID, Rebecca (Dave) Boyle of Laguna Hills, CA and Greg (Pam) Fadness of Twin Falls, ID; grandchildren, Leah Petty, Johanna (Jim) Lamm, Marah Fadness, Jessica and Miranda Fadness, Tara (Jeremy) Koop, Courtney (David) Thornalley, Caleb (Yulia) Fadness, Sarah (Charlie) Heffelfinger, Hannah (Denver) Cook, Caitlin, Ian, Kelsi, Luc and Joshua Fadness; great grandchildren, Yesenia Pliejo, Leah, Tim and Anna Fadness, Charlie, Rachael and Judah Heffelfinger, Asher, Tristen and Kiara Cook.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, from 6-8 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and will continue Tuesday, July 28, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake.
