Merlin Mix's Obituary
Merlin M. Mix, 66, formerly of Barnum, died Friday, February 25, 2011 in Bayshore Health Care Center, Duluth. He was born July 13, 1944 in Jackson to Irvin and Dorothy (Adkins) Mix. Merlin was a Navy Veteran. Merlin was united in marriage to E. Ann Mix on November 22, 1984 in Farmers Branch, TX. He enjoyed fishing and living on Bear Lake in Barnum and trips to Las Vegas.
Merlin is preceded in death by his wife, Ann and his parents.
Merlin is survived his twin brother, Marlin (Sharon) Mix of St. Paul; 1 sister, Marilyn Mix of St. Paul; mother-in-law, Elsie Lekander; 2 sisters-in-law; 5 brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held this spring in Mount Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Mahtowa. To sign the guestbook online, go to: www.hhkfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
