Michael Gene Tait, 53, of Barnum, died Saturday, July 19, 2008.  He was born December 18, 1954 in Moose Lake to Neal and Vera (Schmidt) Tait.  Michael is a veteran of the United States Army.  He enjoyed wildlife, fishing, country music, gardening and had a love for animals, especially cats.  He especially enjoyed staying in the Twin Cities with his family.  Michael had a great sense of humor and had a contagious laugh.Michael is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; sister, Kathryn Peters.Michael is survived by his siblings, Judith (William) Sarro of White Bear Lake, Betty (Jack) Cardinal of White Bear Lake, Donald Tait of Eden Prairie, Bonnie (Larry) Hayden of Walla Walla, WA, Vicki Collins of Anoka, Kelly (Jim) Sauer of Woodbury and Shelly (Michael) Rice of Oakdale; 2 aunts, Ruth and Lula; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Services were held on Thursday, July 24 at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake with Pastor Hal Kamppi officiating.  Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
