Michael T. Thomsen, 51, of Mahtowa, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at his home. He was born July 2, 1963 in Cloquet. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking through Cabela's catalogues and collecting guns and knives. Michael also had an extensive baseball card collection and collected antique snowmobiles. He was also an excellent artist.

Michael is preceded in death by his dog, Lacy.

Michael is survived by 2 daughters, Elisabeth "Beth" Thomsen and Emily Thomsen, both of Mahtowa; 1 son, Christopher (Heaven) Thomsen of Moose Lake; granddaughter, Akkadian Thomsen of Moose Lake; father, Raymond "Ray" (Eleanor) Thomsen of Cloquet; dogs, Ginger, Gilbert and Pup.

Visitation will be Friday, October 3 from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cloquet.
