Nola Gariepy

Nola Gariepy, 84, Willow River, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake.  She grew up in Walhalla, ND where she married Francis Gariepy on September 16, 1950.  They moved to St. Paul and later to Moundsview.  In 1960, they moved to Circle Pines until 1992 when they retired to a hobby farm west of Willow River.  She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed going to breakfast with her church friends.  She also loved baking bread, sewing, puzzles, trips to the casino, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; son: Steven; two brothers and two sisters.

Nola will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Calvin (Lori) Gariepy; Jan Gariepy; Nina (Larry) Reinertson; and Tony (Donna) Gariepy; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister: Jylann (Jim) Schlie; daughter-in-law: Karla Gariepy; and special friends: Doris Pince and Nicole Pince.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 with a Rosary Service at 6:30 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Willow River with a visitation one-hour prior at St. Mary's Center, Willow River.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Willow River.
