Obituary

Pauline Cisar, 77, Sturgeon Lake, went home to our Savior on Friday, September 28, 2018.  Lovingly surrounded by her family at her lake home, she passed peacefully while looking out on what she called her "little peace of heaven."  Pauline was born on April 12, 1941 in Birch Creek Township to Martin and Rose Kiminski.  Pauline was a lifelong member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church where she was baptized, made her first communion, was confirmed and later married Duane Cisar on September 6, 1958.  Pauline was also a member of the St. Isidore's CCW.  She had an unwavering faith and love for her Lord Jesus Christ and was an extremely devoted wife, mother and fulltime homemaker.  Pauline worked for 34 seasons at General Andrews Tree Nursery while also working the farm, raising beef, and making thousands of Christmas wreaths.  She loved gardening, flowers, hunting, fishing, trapping, dancing, and working hard.  Pauline cherished the time she spent with her family and will be remembered for her great family gatherings and hearty homemade meals.  She was always generous and soft hearted to those in need.  During their 60 years of marriage, Pauline and Duane traveled all over the United States enjoying the natural beauty and wonders of God's creations.  Truly, Pauline's life, faith, marriage, and love for her family have been an example and inspiration to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Rose Kiminski; five sisters: Josephine, Mary, Victoria, Margaret, Rosie; and four brothers: Valentine, Louie, Albert, Ray; and granddaughter Kelli Berryman.  Pauline will be affectionately remembered by her husband, Duane; five children whom Pauline thought the world of: Donna Berryman of Cloquet; Rick (Karen) Cisar of Moose Lake; Denise (Dale) Bergquist of Maplewood; Duane "Tom" Cisar of Askov; and Brian (Elizabeth) Cisar of Sturgeon Lake; 16 grandchildren: Daniel, Kelli, Michael, Zachary, Joshua, Tyler, Karina, Diane, Jennifer, Paul, Kyle, Stephanie, Brianna, David, Rebecca, and Rose; 10 great grandchildren: Braden, Ayla, Alexis, Emma, Noah, Midna, Elune, Cole, Khylee, and Brynlee; brother: Jacob Kiminski of Denham; sister: Barbara (Stanley) Kwapick of Willow River; and numerous nieces and nephews.
