Philip Dean Anderson, 70, of Kerrick Township, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, January 9, 2012. He was born July 22, 1941 in Willow River, to Anders and Agnes (Degerstrom) Anderson. Philip was a lifelong member of Oak Lake Lutheran Church, Kerrick. He loved the outdoors, hunting, traveling, sports and especially spending time with his family and friends.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Scott Keyport and several aunts and uncles.
Philip is survived by 3 daughters, Debi Anderson of St. Paul, Rachel (Brian) Meinert of New Hope and Patty Keyport of Pine City; 5 grandchildren, Joseph and Kathryn Keyport, Jack, Lauren and Grace Meinert; 2 sisters, Linda (Rich) Mandat and Peggy Anderson, both of Florida; nephew, Sean (Amie); nieces, Michelle and Jennifer; great nephew, Dylan.
A gathering of family and friends was held Friday, January 13, with Visitation at 10 AM and Service at 11 AM at Oak Lake Lutheran Church, Kerrick with Pastor Nathan Anderson officiating.
