Obituary

Priscilla Irene (Kelley) Wilson

Priscilla's desire since her honey passed away two and a half years ago, was to be with him again and on June 22, 2020, she joined him in heaven. At the time, she was living with her daughter, Ethel, and her family in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota.

She was born on July 1, 1932 in California, to Herschel and Amelia Kelley. She and her twin sister, Patricia Hodge, were numbers nine and ten of eleven children.

Priscilla married the love of her life, Eldon Ray Wilson, when he came home from the Marines and realized 'little Pris' had grown up! They had four children, Ray Jr., Linda, Ethel and Raelene.

Through the years, they began to get involved in Christian Ministry, always serving in the church and doing missionary work. They moved to Grants Pass, Oregon in the mid-50s and started a donut shop chain all the while ministering in the church they attended. Eventually they sold the donut business and became full time pastors in The Dalles, Oregon. Priscilla was known to all for her servant's heart, sweet smile, continuous joy, tremendous generosity and her lovely singing voice.

After several years of pastoring that took them later to Corvallis and then Portland, Oregon, they bought a camper and started in full time evangelistic work, travelling and ministering throughout the US and Canada having Kids Krusades and Revival Services.

They developed a TV Program together called Black Buffalo's Pow Wow, and it opened the doors to more missions' ministry and eventually world-wide ministry. Priscilla was the backbone of this ministry and kept everything organized. She greatly missed the excitement and joy of this ministry later in life.

She lived a life filled with joy, service and generosity. She made instant friends wherever she went and recently has enjoyed communicating with all who knew her on Facebook. In their 80's they were still operating a food bank for the needy out of their garage. Her love for the Lord, and His people was her main focus in life, and she loved her family. There was nothing she wouldn't do to see her family happy. She attended all major events in their lives unless it absolutely was not possible.

Priscilla and Ray moved to Minnesota at the invitation of her daughter, Ethel, and son in law, Jerry, after she broke her hip while still traveling and doing ministry at ages 84 and 87. Ray passed away a few months later, on January 31, 2018. She filled her days with Facebook, messaging friends and family and watching the old shows on TV. She enjoyed going to Augustana to visit with and encourage the residents where her honey had been in care for his remaining days. She also loved watching the birds, walking with her walker, visiting neighbors and talking to the dogs along the way. She ended every night with a time of prayer for her family.

Priscilla is survived by her twin, her four children; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
