Raland Fred Skoglund's Obituary
Raland Fred Skoglund, 68, of Mahtowa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 19, 1946 in Barnum to Fred and Kathryn (Essig) Skoglund. Raland is a Veteran of the United States Army, who served during Vietnam. Raland enjoyed wildlife, fishing, wood working, watching T.V. and working out in his yard.
Raland is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Marie Goodman.
Raland is survived by 1 daughter, Krystal (Brent) Milczark of Kettle River; 1 son, Shane (Kelly) Skoglund of Puyallup, WA; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Asher; brother, Jack (JoAnne) Skoglund of Barnum; sisters, Pauline (Stan) Strand of Cromwell and Shirley (Tim) Addleman of Barnum; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Sandy Lake Cemetery, Mahtowa.
A Luncheon and Time of Remembrance will be held for Raland's family and friends on Thursday, March 26 at 12:30 P.M. in the Evangelical Covenant Church Fellowship Hall. To sign the guestbook online, go to: www.hhkfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
