Raymond E. Grazin
Raymond E. Grazin, 85, Sturgeon Lake, died peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 2, 1926 in Birchdale, MN to Martin and Eva Grazin. After graduating from school, Ray served in the United States Army. Ray later worked for the Forest Service in Birchdale and Baudette. On November 24, 1957, Ray married Hazel Sandsmark. They moved to Willow River in 1963 and later to Sturgeon Lake in 1975. Ray worked for many years at General Andrews Nursery in Willow River as a mechanic. He enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, fishing, gardening, and flying remote control planes. Ray accepted Christ as his Savior on September 4, 1974 and was in Fellowship at the Gospel Hall in Hinckley.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Hazel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held from Noon until the 1:00 PM Funeral service on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Rollie Ekstrand will officiate.
