Rebecca Lynn Knudsen, 62, Moose Lake, died peacefully on January 14 th , 2023 in her home, surrounded by the loving care of her husband, DJ. She was born in Fort Knox, KY on August 23 rd , 1960 to William and Kathleen Brown.
Becky grew up in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated from Southeast High School in 1978. She obtained her Associates Degree from Kaplan University in childcare to care for special needs children. She enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, crocheting, and painting. Becky was as selfless as selfless could get: she found joy in helping others whenever and wherever she could. She married her best friend, David "DJ" Knudsen, on August 26 th , 2017 in their home at Hillside Manor West. Becky loved animals and had a passion for children. She had a contagious laugh that was pure and unforgettable. She was a dancer at heart and loved authentic Mexican food. One of Becky's truest loves in life was her service dog, Bindi: they had been together and bonded stronger than ever since 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathleen.
Becky will be cherished and remembered forever by her husband, DJ; daughters, Minaka (Thomas) Bess of Florida, Jessica Crilly of Texas, and Kathleen Fetters of Minnesota; son, Allen (Michelle) Fetters of Minnesota; grandchildren, Callie and Joshua, of Oklahoma, Trevor, Donovan, and Sidney, of Florida, Ariella and Isla, of Texas, and Cassandra, Corey, Christopher, and Preston, of Minnesota; 5 nieces and nephews; and beloved service dog, Bindi.
Per Becky's wishes, no formal services will be held.
