World War II Vets don't die, they just go to Heaven to re-group.

Our Papa, Robert Engel, joined the ranks on Tuesday, September 24 ^th , 2019 at the age of 96.

Born in Duluth, MN on March 27 ^th , 1923, Bob was the last remaining sibling born to Christ and Clara Engel. He is also preceded in death by his wife, our mother and nana, Jean.

Papa was loved and will be dearly missed by his children, Bobby (Claudia), Connie, Wanda (Kevin Stepp), and Tara (Jim Kroon); grandchildren, Hilary (Dan McConville), Hailey, and Adre; and great-grands, Holden and Finley.

Bob was a long time business owner: both of B & B Meats in Duluth and Taran's Meat Department.

A family memorial will be held next spring.
