Robert "Bob" J. Rosera, 60, Hermantown, formerly of Kettle River, died Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born on January 20, 1964 in Eugene, OR to Dean and Margaret "Peggy" Rosera. He grew up in Tillamook, OR, Fairbanks, AK, and Glenallen, AK before moving to MN with his family in 1974. Bob attended Moose Lake High School graduating in 1982. Bob lived in Hermiston, OR for three years and then entered the United States Army where he served from 1985 to 1987. Bob later attended Lake Superior College. He moved to the Twin Cities where he worked as a computer assisted drafter in the heating and cooling field for 10 years. Bob moved to Hermantown and worked with his brother, Bruce as a CNA and worked at various maintenance jobs. He loved trips to the BWCA, woodworking, cooking, working with flowers, and growing roses. Bob earned his way around a good steak by BBQing with his brother Brian and often enjoyed gourmet coffee with him. Bob will be often remembered for being meticulous in everything he did.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joe and Margie Gottfried and Bob and Estelle Rosera.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Dean and Peggy Rosera; 5 siblings: Devonna Best, Brian Rosera, Bruce Rosera, Shannon Rosera, and Amber (Steve) Lovel; nieces and nephews: Tarah (Jayson) Steele, Tony Best, Matthew Rosera, Chelstina (Nic) Rosera Cleary, Samuel Rosera, Niia Jo Rosera, Hayden Lovel, and Jacob Lovel.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Lunch will follow Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Willow River at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
