Robert Allen Postal, 69, of Sturgeon Lake, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his home. He was born May 21, 1942 in Duluth to Bernard and Clara (Cegla) Postal. Robert was united in marriage to Kathleen Zipoy on September 15, 1962 in St. Paul. Robert was a truck driver for Transport Inc. of Esko and a member of Teamster Union for 30 years. Robert enjoyed fishing, sausage making and working on cars, trucks, boats, etc. Robert especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Kathy of Sturgeon Lake; 1 son, Brian (Dawn) Postal of Sturgeon Lake; 1 daughter, Nancy (Leon) Opatz of White Bear Lake; grandchildren, Darren, Ryan, Addison, Jack and Annie; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 30, from 5-7 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and continued on Monday, October 31 from 9 AM until the 10 AM service in Faith Lutheran Church, Sturgeon Lake.
