Roberta "Birdie" J. (Noeldner) Storebo was born September 10, 1927 in St. Paul. She grew up in Bruno and graduated from Bruno High School. On August 15, 1946, she was united in marriage to Raymond "Min" Storebo at Peace Lutheran Church of Finlayson and made their home in Bruno. While raising a family of five daughters, Birdie had various jobs, including Bruno City Clerk, church organist and 30 years of service as a paraprofessional for the school district until she retired. Some of her hobbies were watching the Twins and Vikings, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Birdie also had a great sense of humor. With her gift of music, she loved to play for church events and other special occasions and touched the hearts of many. On Tuesday, June 24, 2014, she died peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Birdie was preceded in death by her husband, "Min".

Birdie is survived by five daughters, Linda (Gary) Shaw of Woodford, VA, Sharon (Jack) Ring of Eden Prairie, Deanna (Tom) Anderson of Mora, Sylvia Schweiger of Bruno and Jeanette (Neil) Swenson of Bruno; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, June 30, from 6 PM until 8 PM in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bruno and will continue, Tuesday, July 1, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service at the church with Pastor Matthew Vrudny officiating. Imy Johnson will be the organist. Casket Bearers will be Jack Ring, Tom Anderson, Neil Swenson, Jesse Swenson, Arnie Cekalla and Dale Ludwig. Honorary Casket Bearers are Gary Shaw, Robin LaBelle, Keri Schofield, Tina DeGeest, Jenny Ludwig, Nikki Cekalla, Steve DeGeest, Dennis LaBelle, Chris Schofield and Elliott Swenson.
