Roger Ralph Davidson, 69, of Moose Lake, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his home. He was born January 27, 1947 in Silver Township to Reverend Ralph and Mabel (Illikainen) Davidson. In his younger years, Roger served in the Army National Guard. Roger enjoyed working on, racing and showing classical cars and was an avid hunter and snowmobiler. Roger enjoyed coffee time with his 2nd family at The Lazy Moose. Roger lived his life to the fullest with never a dull moment. Roger especially enjoyed time with his grandkids.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents.
Roger is survived by his significant other, Carol Agurkis of Moose Lake; children, Tim (Kim) Davidson of Moose Lake, Tamara (George) Fett of Wrenshall, Barry (JoAnn) Davidson of Sturgeon Lake, Mark (Amanda) Agurkis of Barnum and Melanie (Lee) Korpela of Mahtowa; the mother of his children, Mary Davidson of Duluth; grandchildren, Katana (Austin), Dakota, Spencer, Blake, Mason, Wil, Mallory, Hally, Riley, Miles, Ruby, Morgan, Camryn, Brayden, Weston and Nolan; great grandchild, Adelyn; brother, Paul (Lola) Davidson of Moose Lake; sisters, Annie (Mickey) Heaser of Wright, Marie Luther of Moose Lake and Grace (Joe) Olsen of Moose Lake; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17, from 6-8 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and will continue Saturday, June 18, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Apostolic Lutheran Church, Kettle River.
Roger's family urges his friends with classic cars to drive them to his service on Saturday.
Interment will be in Leonard Cemetery, Kalevala Township with a luncheon to follow in Evangelical Covenant Church Fellowship Hall, Moose Lake.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
