ROGER HAROLD FORSE
Roger Harold Forse, 69, of Moose Lake, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth. He was born May 13, 1945 in Minneapolis to Harold and Florence (Magnuson) Forse. Roger lived in Moose Lake all his life, attending Moose Lake Schools, graduating in 1964. Roger is an Army Veteran and was stationed in Korea. Roger was united in marriage to Carol Stone on August 31, 1968 in Minneapolis. He worked for CAP Coop Oil Company in Kettle River for 35 years. Roger owned and operated C & R Forse Farm installing sewers and doing dirt work. Roger was past Commander of Kettle River American Legion Post #360. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. Roger enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Art's Cafe, golfing and building projects in his shop.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Art Forse.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Forse of Moose Lake; daughters, Kelly (Brian) Roden of Milaca and Lynn (Keith) Courington of Port Orange, FL; grandchildren, Tyler, Jake, Clay, Trey, Kailee, Andy and Seth; great granddaughter, Skylar; sister, Judy (Tom) Schander of Coon Rapids; mother-in-law, Helen Stone of Cromwell; sisters-in-law, Nancy Forse of Moose Lake and Sue (Dick) Randa of Cloquet; brothers-in-law, Gary Stone of Minneapolis and Bruce (Charry) Stone of Balsam Lake, WI; many nieces nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 11, from 2 PM to 5 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 5 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and a gathering of family and friends will continue Sunday, April 12, from 1 PM until the 2 PM Memorial Service in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. Inurnment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Silver Township. Military Honors will be provided by Moose Lake American Legion.
